XFX R9 Fury Triple Dissipation Testing:

Hitman (2016):

Hitman (2016) is an a stealth action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. Hitman (2016) is the sixth iteration of this series and acts as a prequel to the entire series, while also taking part after the events in Hitman: Absolution. The game was developed by IO interactive and published by Square Exix. with a release date for PC in March 2016 for the first part of the episodic content. To deliver the visuals, the game uses a modified Glacier 2 game engine. This title takes advantage of the ability to run in DX 12 mode for users who have adopted Windows 10.

Tom Clancy's The Division:

Tom Clancy's The Division faced an uphill battle to become the highest opening day grossing title in Ubisoft's history. Built as an open-world third-person shooter video game, Ubisoft Massive developed the game with some assistance from Red Star Entertainment for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with Ubisoft taking care of the publishing. Ubisoft Massive developed and built the Snowdrop game engine specifically for The Divison due to the need for an intelligent engine to manage the dynamic global illumination, destruction, detail, and visual effects.

In both Hitman (2016) and Tom Clancy's The Division, the XFX R9 Fury delivers performance that equals or betters the GTX 980. In each game, the performance margins are at most in the one to two FPS range, both stock and overclocked. If these are your go-to games and are looking at which card to buy, it's a toss up. In Hitman (2016), running in DX 12 mode does not create a significant advantage one way or the other when you compare the GTX 980 and the R9 Fury.
