Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Challenger Prime Gaming Keyboard: The Software

The Thermaltake software was easy to download and to install. In fact, it has no login or Internet connection required to speak off, which is great. That alone is a plus in my book as not being able to use the software without the Internet is a strange concept, but a problem with some of these companies. Upon opening the software, the layout is extremely simple and if it gets too confusing or mapped wrong, you can reset to factory defaults easy enough.  Mapping keys itself was a normal process of picking a profile and a key, then creating a key combo. It wasn't hard to figure out, even without reading the quick guide.

The Advance settings tab has all the bells and whistles. An option to change polling rates, to the back light color was all present. Besides the insane 1000Hz polling rate, the Macro Manager is a great little feature. It allows you to record as many keys as you like, than you can stop it and map it to a macro key. The addition to set a time delay between keys helps out in any games that forces or expects a delay between key presses to avoid unfair advantages. Overall, this software is simple and easy to use. I wish they all came this simple.
