NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X Testing:

Part first-person shooter, part survival horror, Metro: Last Light is the follow-up to the extremely popular game Metro 2033. Developed by 4A games and published by Deepsilver, this game uses the 4A game engine. In this game, set a year after the missile strike on the Dark Ones, you continue on as Artyom as he digs deeper into the bowels of the Metro.

  • DirectX 11
  • 2x MSAA
  • Global settings = Very High
  • PhysX = Off
  • DOF = Off

Starting out in Metro: Last Light, we see that the GTX Titan X is just crushing the rest of the field in all three resolutions. At 3840 x 2160 using my test settings, the card is still struggling to get over 30FPS. Easing up on the settings easily gets you over the hump. In all three resolutions there is a significant performance margin over the GTX 980 and R9 290X.
