Borderlands 5-Years Later Review

DLC Review: Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot:

This DLC, unlike the others, does not feature a traditional campaign. In fact you do not even get any experience for the enemies you kill in it. Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot just gives you missions to complete multiple rounds of five waves each, with enemies and special rules to contend with. These rules can be to decrease gravity or improve the effectiveness of certain weapon types, to the detriment of others.

Personally, I do not find this DLC to be all that much fun. It is basically grinding without much reward, so I tend to just avoid it. Completing the missions it gives you will earn you skill points, but honestly, that is not enough for me to find it enjoyable. The one positive note for the DLC I can give you is that it features a bank, where you can store items you want to keep, without filling up your backpack.

Maybe with friends the Underdome will be enjoyable for you, but personally it just does nothing for me.
