   -

Asus Sabertooth X99 Testing:

CrystalDiskMark 3.0: CrystalDiskMark is a hard drive benchmark designed to measure the read and write speeds of drives by using 4K blocks, 512K blocks, and sequential data. For the test, we chose the 1000MB option.

ATTO 2.47: will be used to measure USB 3.0 performance using an SSD attached to an external USB 3.0 drive dock.

Testing shows the Sabertooth X99 is delivering comparable performance agaist the rest of the X99 boards, with the peformance levels showing variances only felt in benchmarks. Using the USB 3.1 Boost feature in ASUS' AI Suite III, increasing USB performance higher, is as simple as plugging in a USB 3.0 or 3.1 device and checking a box.
