ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10 Review

   -

ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10 Testing:

CrystalDiskMark: CrystalDiskMark is a hard drive benchmark designed to measure the read and write speeds of drives by using 4K blocks, 512K blocks, and sequential data. For the test, we chose the 1000MB option.

ATTO 2.47: will be used to measure USB 3.0 performance using an SSD attached to an external USB 3.0 drive dock.

Looking at disk drive performance, the ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10 is delivering similar results when compared to the rest of the comparison field of boards. Usually ASUS comes out on top in the USB 3.0 testing, but not so much in all the testing in the ATTO benchmark. ASUS' stranglehold on USB 3.0 performance seems to be consistent across its product stack.
