ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero Review

ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero Testing:

CrystalDiskMark: CrystalDiskMark is a hard drive benchmark designed to measure the read and write speeds of drives by using 4K blocks, 512K blocks, and sequential data. For the test, we chose the 1000MB option.

ATTO 2.47: will be used to measure USB 3.0 performance using an SSD attached to an external USB 3.0 drive dock.

Disk drive performance is similar between these three boards. If you were choosing a board strictly by these results it would be a tough choice. USB 3.0/3.1 performance is once again similar. In the 4K, 512K, and 1M block size results, the Gigabyte board is the higher performer, while in the 128K block size result, MSI has the higher performance. The ASUS motherboard typically sits between the other two in most of the tests.
