Aspire SX1000 Aluminum Case Review

GF City Computers
Price: $160 USD

Today we will look at SX1000 Aluminum case, made by Aspire. There are three things I look for in a case that I will be using. The first thing is the height, is there enough room for me to work inside it? Second thing that is really important to me is the amount of fans that can be put into it, cooling is very important to me. The last thing that I want to see is a window, I want to see that everything is working and I like to show off what I have. Does the SX1000 have all that? Well let’s see.

Closer Look

Nice to see a window almost as big as the whole side of the case.

    Nothing special about the box.

This case is similar to other cases with this design; the color is what got me. My wife likes it and she wants to put lights in it and all.

I like being able to lock the computer from being turned on, or opened up. Guys if the wife is looking to spend time with you on LAN party weekend, hide your keys :)

Look at the size of that window, bragging rights here for sure. I love calling my friends over and saying look what I got. :)

These two pics you can see, that you can add 80mm fans if you want to or need to. Better to have more cooling then not enough. (especially if you over clock) :)
