AntLion ModMic 4.0 Uni-directional with Mute Review

AntLion ModMic 4.0: The AntLion Mouse Pad

Continuing along, AntLion seems to want to branch out further than audio alone. We even have on hand the AntLion Pro Gaming MM-28 – an "UBER-WIDE" mousepad. The box is nice and simple in all black with white lettering. There isn't too much to it besides some listing of features. Perfect packaging in my eyes. It's listed as a 900mm by 300mm pad (which for American thinkers is nearly 3ft wide by 1ft in size – WHOA). It's basicaly a big pad. As the sketch on the box shows, it shall hold your mouse AND keyboard. I'm excited.

The box has a little peep hole but is wrapped in plastic, so it blocks you from feeling the pad. Though it keeps you from getting other's gross skin embedded into it before you buy it, it's an odd decision. Sliding it out of the box (yes I cheated and removed the plastic for your eyes) it is nicley rolled up with a stitched edge. Out of the box it wants to lay reasonbly flat right away (yay!). It's nice and thin and won't be something that seems like "extra" on my desk.

There is a reasonably sized AntLion logo in the lower right corner. That being said, compared to the size of the pad, it is not really that big. Here's a rare shot of my desk for your pleasure, so you can really see its size. Just enough room for a keyboard, mouse, and drink! Perfect! I'll admit I'm usually one who is terrible about having my mouse pad fall of my desk due to my unusual positioning, but I don't think it'll be a problem anymore.
