Deepcool Gamerstorm Launches Fryzen, Full-Size TR4 Air Cooler

As a Ryzen Threadripper owner, I have been looking forward to the upcoming launch of the second generation HEDT processors not just to see how the platform has evolved but also to see what accessories are going to arrive with it. Something that makes Threadrippers quite different from other CPUs is its large size, which complicates cooling it but there are some coolers out there with full-size plates, though the list is not long. Now there is another to the list thanks to Deepcool Gamerstorm and its launch of the Fryzen cooler.

Fryzen has an ultra large copper base to provide complete coverage for Threadripper CPUs and has 6 boot-shaped heatpipes to pull the heat away. It uses all-aluminum fins and inverse double-bladed fans that double the air pressure for double the cooling performance as well. Naturally the fans and top cover also sport RGB lighting with five built-in effects, but you can also control them through your motherboard's addressable RGB function.

Something important for some of you is that it is designed for minimal interference with memory and graphics cards, including on the Asus Zenith Extreme. Fryzen will be available in August with an MSRP of $89.99. In addition to supporting the TR4 socket, it can also be used with the smaller AM4 socket and many older AMD sockets, all the way back to AM2 and FM1.
