Cooler Master is not the only company to announce new cases today as be quiet! Has announced its Dark Base Pro 900 rev. 2 case. This new case offers several upgrades over the original while keeping its position in the modular and silent full tower case segment. Around its outside you will find it has LED strips you can use to illuminate the tempered glass side panel. The IO panel has two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a quick charging port, and Qi charging station for those with supporting devices. Opening up the front panel gives you access to the stepless fan controller, which can control eight PWM fans and with two rails allows you to create two cooling zones.

Going inside the case you find this is a very modular case, with its motherboard tray having six positions it can be installed in, allowing up to E-ATX and XL-ATX boards. The HDD slots can also be repositioned, supporting up to five 3.5 in drives, ten 2.5 in drives, and even two optical drives, but with slot covers you can hide those you are not using. The PSU shroud also offers customization with detachable cover plates, so you can install a fan or SSD on the shroud while leaving space for a radiator in front.

For cooling the Dark Base Pro 900 rev. 2 comes with three Silent Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans to keep your system cool while staying quiet. Noise is further reduced with L-shaped vents in the case along with insulated foam matts and decoupling mechanisms for components to minimize vibrations.

The case is available immediately for $269. Those with the original Dark Base Pro 900, you can purchase the new PSU shroud, side panel, HDD slot covers, and additional HDD cages are available as well.
