Bethesda Announces Starfield; First Original IP in 25 Years

After all the excitement of Bethesda's full reveal of the online multiplayer Fallout 76, there were two other announcements. One is a familiar game, which you can check out here, and the other is for something brand new. Something that Bethesda isn't entirely revealing just yet, but it's the company's first original IP in 25 years. It's called Starfield and is a space epic currently in development at Bethesda Game Studios. This is a game that's been teased ever since a trademark appeared in 2013, but precious little is known about it. It could be a first-person shooter/role-playing game hybrid, it could be something a little like Freelancer with FPS and RPG elements (Elder Scrolls in space?), or really anything at this point. We know it's on the way and we should expect more information soon once QuakeCon arrives in August. Until then, enjoy the teaser trailer below and let the speculation commence.
