Dancop Wins G.Skill OC World Cup 2018 at Computex

At Computex 2018, G.Skill held the 5th Annual OC World Cup and the winner of the overclocking competition was Dancop from Germany. The grand prize he won is $10,000.

The top six qualified contestants for the overclocking competition were [email protected], Lau Kin Lam, Lucky_noob, rsannino, rtsurfer, and naturally Dancop. The six competed head-to-head at G.Skill's Computex booth in front of the audience that came to watch. The Grand Final stage was between Dancop and [email protected] and both were using Intel Core i7-8700K CPUs on ASUS ROG MAXIMUS APEX boards. At first the two were neck-to-neck, but at the end Dancop pulled ahead to win.

The competition was sponsored by Intel, Samsung, and Kingpin Cooling and G.Skill also thanks the motherboard venders and judges that made the competition possible.
