After releasing a teaser a couple weeks ago, ASRock has officially entered the video card market with its Phantom Gaming series based on AMD's Radeon RX 500 GPUs. The cards based on the RX 580 and RX 570 both come with 8 GB of GDDR5 VRAM while the RX 560 and RX 550 cards have just 2 GB (though the "4G/2G" labels in the press release would seem to suggest 4 GB versions will exist).

While the specific GPU and memory configuration differ between the video cards, there are several features shared between them. Double ball bearings fans, a copper base heatsink with nano thermal paste for more efficient heat transfer, a large anodize aluminum heatsink, and composite heat pipes for better performance are common across them, though only the RX 680 and RX 570 have a dual-fan design. Along with these cards is the Phantom Gaming Tweak software for controlling fan speed and clock speed. The cards also have an OC mode and Silent mode, in addition the default mode. Naturally the suite and AMD technologies, like FreeSync, Enhanced Sync, WattMan, Chill, ReLive, and AMD Link are also supported.
