The graphics card is among the most important components of any gaming computer, and PowerColor has a new offering to consider. The Red Dragon RX Vega 56 features the same GPU and 8 GB of HBM2 of other Vega 56 cards, but has an aggressive cooler on it to keep things cool and quiet with its three fans, smart heat pipes, and fin design. The BIOS switch on the card also allows the user to go between an overclocking mode to a silent mode, for those times you want the card to be nearly inaudible while still providing gaming performance.

The Vega 56 GPU has 3584 stream processors and can clock up to 1478 MHz while the HBM2 goes to 800 MHz. For connectors it offers two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort plugs and takes one eight pin and one six pin PCIe power connector. The minimum system power requirement is marked as 450 W.

The Red Dragon Vega 56 will be available at select re- and etailers on March 28.
