If you are looking for a new computer case, be quiet!, the market leader of PC power supplies in Germany, has something you might be interested in. The Dark Base 700 is a mid-tower chassis with some useful and intriguing features, such as a motherboard tray that can be mounted on the left panel instead of the right, where it typically is. Its modular design does not stop there as you can move two of three HDD cages from their usual location to under the PSU shroud, which itself is comprised of four removable segments. Unused HDD slots have cable management covers as well, if you want to hide your cable routing. You can also mount your graphics card vertically in the case, if you want to show it off, though a riser cable is not included. There is also enough room at the top of the case for a 360 mm radiator.

On the front panel there are two Type-A USB 3.0 ports and a Type-C USB 3.1 Gen 2 port. There is also a fan controller, which supports up to six PWM fans. This controller lets you pick between auto and three manual levels, and while in full manual mode the fans can be divided between two channels, to create separate cooling zones. The case also has integrated RGB LED lights that can produce up to six colors across three modes, when controlled by the integrated controller. With the proper motherboard software, you can have any color in the full RGB spectrum.

The Dark Base 700 is available now with a recommended price of $179.90.
