New OCZ SSD Series Announced by Toshiba

If you are looking to build a new computer or upgrade a current one with SSDs in place of traditional hard drives, a new option has been announced by Toshiba under the OCZ brand. The new OCZ VX500 SSD series is meant to handle the amount of writing some of us put our drives through, as part of content creation or revolving storage, with endurance ratings of 74 to 592 Terabytes Written (TBW). At 592 TBW, that is more than three times the endurance of leading TLC SSDs. Of course these drives also need to be fast to satisfy some of us and they will feature read and write speeds of up to 550 MB/s and 515 MB/s, respectively.

The series will off four drive capacities from 128 GB to 1024 GB and will be backed by a 5-year warranty.
