GIGABYTE showed off several products at Computex, including the Designare Motherboard series, which are meant to give artists and content creators the technologies they need, even when they are not technically minded. Now the company has launched the X99-Desginare EX and Z170X-Designare series of motherboards.

The X99-Designare EX naturally uses Intel's X99 chipset and has useful several features, including -way SLI/Crossfire support and eight DIMM slots that can take advantage of XMP on select G.Skill memory. Even if you are not an experienced overclocker, XMP will let the user get the most out of their memory.

The Z170X-Designare motherboard series supports Power Delivery 2.0, allowing the motherboard to push 100 W out of its USB Type-C port. Both series of motherboards also support dual Intel LANs, full NVMe compatibility, and DDR4. With the dual LANs you can get the best speed out of your Internet connection and with NVMe support you can take advantage of those SSDs that use the standard. You can even connect up to three of them in RAID 0, which can push the Intel 750 Series of NVMe SSDs to 3.6 GB/s sequential read speeds.
