ASUS Reveals Several New Products at Computex

ASUS is on hand at the Computex tradeshow in Taiwan this week to show off a number of new products from the Republic of Gamers line. The ROG G20 is a small form factor gaming desktop with near silent operation, an Intel Core i7 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 graphics. The G20 has received the Best Choice of the Year and Best Choice Golden Awards at Computex 2014. The ROG GR8 is the ASUS take on the SteamOS powered gaming PCs and features SupremeFX audio, 4K/UHD video output, an Intel Core i7 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti graphics. The ROG GX500 is a gaming laptop that measures just 0.75" in thickness and weighs 4.85 pounds. A 15.6" screen is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M graphics and is capable of 4K/UHD resolutions. The ROG Swift PG278Q gaming monitor operates at resolutions up to 2560x1440 at a 144Hz refresh rate with a 27" screen size and is the first monitor of its size to support NVIDIA G-SYNC.

ASUS also has a number of internal components including a trio of motherboards and a graphics card. The ROG Maximus VII is a Z97 based motherboard with a CrossChill copper design to aid in heat dissipation and the ASUS SupremeFX Formula 2014 audio technology. The Maximus VII Impact is a Z97 based mini-ITX motherboard with SupremeFX Impact II dedicated sound and a full-scale power card for overclocking. The Crossblade Ranger is an FM2+ based motherboard that includes a number of the ROG core game-boosting features. The ROG ARES III is a water-cooled graphics card with dual Radeon Hawaii XT GPUs at 25% better cooling performance than R9 295X reference designs with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. ASUS will release a limited number of the cards, with just 500 being available initially.
