Introduction

X-Micro. A name that most people are not familiar with, one that I myself have not heard of in the past. Seemingly coming out of nowhere, X-micro is sneaking a new product into the market, the VDO MP4 F610. While this may not be the most appealing name, it’s bound to mean that this little device is packing, as anything with that kind of name is either going to be great, or overly complicated. X-micro, established in 1999, has been supplying easy to use hardware, which has been dubbed “plug & fly”. We will see whether this claim holds up with the VDO MP4 F610.

Closer Look

When I first received this package in the mail, I did not know what it was, as it was shipped to me in a fairly large box.

Once I opened the box I could see what the deal was, as this was not just an mp3 player. It also shipped with a bag, pen, lanyard, and all the technical documentation.
