SpeedUpMyPC 3 can be installed by inserting the disc into your optical drive and following the on-screen directions.
When you first open up SpeedUpMyPC 3, you’ll be shown just how terrible your computer is and how it’s not optimized at all. You’ll also be shown a huge button to start scanning your computer. At the bottom of the window you’ll see how many products of the power suite you have installed. For me, I have both SpeedUpMyPC 3 and Registry Booster 2 installed.
The next tab is “Optimization” which is where you’ll be able to monitor and optimize your system’s memory, CPU, hard disks, internet and start up. In the memory subsection, you’ll be able to free up your RAM and monitor your memory for as long as 1 hour.
In the CPU subsection, you can monitor your CPU’s activity as well as “Application Booster” which you can tell the CPU to apply more resources to certain programs to make them run more efficiently.
The next subsection is “Disk” which is where you can watch your hard drive’s read and write efficiency over a minute or hour’s time. After “Disk” comes the Internet section. Here you can see your bandwidth usage, upload and download speeds. The last subsection is “StartUp Optimization” which is where you can add or remove programs from your start up list. I found many programs that I didn’t need to have on the list so this tab came in handy.
