Borderless – V-Sync:

Once again we have the in-game v-sync enabled and the initial results are similar to what we saw when in fullscreen. Curiously the frame times are tending to be closer to the 16.667 ms mark, which I can see when processing the data. I'm not sure why this is exactly, but it is what the data says.

There are no Vulkan runs for this and the other borderless tests because of how it fakes borderless.

As should be expected, the display times all fall along 16.667 ms, so the frequency plots are not necessary.

Latency is funky again here, and also high with the data closer to the 33.333 ms mark than 16.667 ms, or closer to two frames later than one.

My guess here is that the latency present from the in-game double buffer and the DWM double buffer are adding up here to make the frames much later than normal. Apparently if you want to run in borderless, you also want to avoid using the in-game v-sync.
