Before installation, make sure you remove all driver software from your previous mouse to avoid conflict. Installation is a snap, just plug in to any open USB 2.0 port on your PC then pop in the installation disk. Read carefully as you go through the installation, if there is anything specific that needs to change; for example where you would like the files to be placed, you will be able to pick up on it easier. Once you have finished your installation you will have to restart your PC for it to take effect.
After plugging the Ideazon Reaper Edge Gaming Mouse in you notice the red led's that spell Ideazon as well as the indicator bar that signifies which DPI setting you are currently on.
The main panel on the configuration screen offers an array of options you can individually set each of the buttons to what you would like them to be. There is a slider for sensitivity, polling rate, and DPI value.
When you click and pull out the side panel you can specify sensitivity for both y and x axis individually. For all of you twitch shooters out there, sometimes being able to spin on a dime is more important than looking up and down. You can even specify which DPI and polling rate you would like by the pull down menu's, and you do not need to use the sliders.
There is also a profile option in the configuration which is handy if you play multiple games with different sensitivities. There is also an import option if you have more than one computer. You can save your profile info and use it on other PCs which is great for LAN parties if you have to use a buddies computer
Now lets see the specs and features break down on this mouse.
