In order to flash your firmware the steps must be done in order to insure that it is being done correctly go to Razer's firmware update page the instruction is clear and thorough.

Please note that the way that I set my preferences, is the way I like my button sequence, you can set them any way you like. When you are done setting up the configuration on your mouse you will be able to use it on any computer since the mouse has 32kb of onboard memory. All you need to do is hit the button underneath the mouse, the LED's will flash 1, 2, 3 times etc. to show you what profile you are set to. If you do have one of your buttons set for "On the Fly Sensitivity" you will have to have the Razer drivers installed.
