Lowest Prices

Conclusion:

The Leadtek WinFast PX8600GT THD is by no means a high end video card. That being said, it is a quality mid-range graphics card and for around $124.99 or less, depending on where you look, it is quite affordable. And, for just a little more, the extreme version of this card can be had. The only fault was the somewhat loud fan. However, it wasn't so loud that it was bothersome, but it could definitely be heard. When compared against the other video cards in this review, it did pretty good by all standards and is DirectX 10 compatible. So, for those looking for a new video card this Christmas without spending a ton of money, but want some performance, the Leadtek WinFast PX8600GT THD is worth looking at.

Pros:

  • Price
  • DirectX 10 support
  • Low power consumption

Cons:

  • Fan is a little noisy
