PowerColor Radeon R9 295X2 Testing:

Part first-person shooter, part survival horror, Metro: Last Light is the follow-up to the extremely popular game Metro 2033. Developed by 4A games and published by Deepsilver, this game uses the 4A game engine. In this game, set a year after the missile strike on the Dark Ones, you continue on as Artyom as he digs deeper into the bowels of the Metro.

At 5760x1080, the PowerColor R9 295X2 is only a few FPS slower than the GTX 780 Ti SLI combo in this game. At 4K, the R9 295X2 is slightly faster with all three combos running very similar results. The FCAT results show that all three combos spend most of their time below 30ms at 5760x1080 and just under 40ms at 3840x2160. The R9 295X2 played this game smoothly at both resolutions.
