Former staff writer    -   April 15, 2007

Closer Look:

The back of the card possesses the serial number and the cards name. This PCI Express card has dual DVI outputs and includes one S-Video output.

If your monitor doesn’t support DVI, included with this card is a 15 pin D-Sub adapter and S-Video output cable. Driver disks and a quick install manual are also included in the package.

Installation:

The card doesn't  require special tools to install it, shut down your computer, remove the side panel, remove the video card you are replacing, and insert the X1650. If your monitor doesn’t support DVI you will have to attach the 15 pin D-sub adapter to one of the outputs in order to accommodate for VGA. The X1650 doesn't require an extra power source to run it, so after you replace your side panel you are ready to power up your computer and start configuring the software drivers when they are installed.
