IOMeter is an I/O subsystem measurement and characterization tool for single and clustered systems. It was originally developed by the Intel Corporation and announced at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) on February 17, 1998. For IO Meter, the RevoDrive was average with other single disks and surprisingly faster than the RAID setup. This changed in the write tests though where the RevoDrive was the best performing among all the drives.
