In the 3DMark tests, you can see that the boards setting the highest boost speed in the BIOS at the stock setting are going to perform slightly higher. But in the grand scheme of things, the differences are small by comparison. Clock speed also helps this benchmark when you look at the overclocked results. The performance boost is clearly seen in the Cloud Gate test, but to a lesser extent in the Fire Strike test. When you get to the actual gaming tests, clock speed is accounting for, in most cases, less than a 1 FPS gain if the video card becomes your bottleneck.
