MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G Testing:

For Honor:

For Honor is an action-fighting game set during a medieval period with a unique fantasy twist. Players can play as a character from three different factions representing knights, samurai, and Vikings. Each faction has four classes for players to experience and decimate their foes. This is another of Ubisoft's titles and features the AnvilNext game engine.

VRMark is a new test designed to see if your system is truly VR capable and to what extent those capabilities are. Featuring the Orange Room test that validates that the system is capable of delivering the needed FPS levels to view through an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. The Blue Room test pushes the settings even higher with 5K textures so that you can see where the gaps are in your VR setup. Upcoming for 2017 is the Cyan Room test, a Direct X 12 VR Benchmark.

In For Honor, the MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G pushes some pretty stout FPS levels at 1080p and 1440p, but seriously drops off at 4K. Using NVIDIA's Geforce Experience can improve the FPS results by using NVIDIA's tried and tested settings package. In 3DMark, the MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G is just barely better than the FE card at stock speeds, but again pushes ahead when overclocked. In VRMark, the dynamic stays the same. The Orange Room test shows that the MSI GTX 1070 Ti meets the 80FPS requirement, while in the Blue Room test it falls short, like pretty much every single card.
