Logitech MX 610 Left-Hand Laser Cordless MouseFormer staff writer - April 25, 2007
At first I was somewhat reluctant to actually see the contents of the box, was Logitech just trying to make me believe this was a “Lefties Only” mouse or is it just another ambidextrous mouse with buttons on the left side? Well low and behold, it's a true, left-handed mouse, and the buttons are right where I want them to be.
It seems that in all my excitement I forgot to point out that the mouse is a cordless laser mouse with a USB micro-receiver at 2.4 GHz that includes a PS2 adapter for those of you who have an older PC or not enough USB ports.
Included with the mouse is the software/driver CD and an installation manual. I can't wait to get this installed, my mouth is watering.
Installing the mouse was no trouble at all, shut down your computer and plug in the USB micro-receiver into an empty USB port. Then turn your mouse upside down and take off the battery cover so you can insert your batteries. Now replace the battery cover and turn the mouse on by pressing the on/off switch and turn your computer back on. When the computer booted back up the mouse worked instantly even though the drivers were not installed. So after installation of the hardware, all that is left to do is to install the drivers and configure the mouse.
