Fnatic Gear Flick G1 Optical Mouse Introduction:
I have said many times before that when I see people build computers, one thing I see them always skimp on is the mouse and keyboard. More times than not I have seen them using mice and keyboards from other vendors of computers like Dell and HP, and it floors me. Why spend hundreds of dollars on that fast gaming PC only to kill yourself in the end with a crappy mouse when there are so many good mice out there that are inexpensive?
Today we are going to take a look at a mouse that wants you to stop using the crappy vendor stuff and really elevate your gaming. The Fnatic Gear Flick G1 Optical Mouse is designed to give you a really good, no frills mouse for a very good price. Fnatic touts its gear as "no bs" eSports equipment that offers simplicity, comfort, and reliability, giving you what you need to perform and no extra frills that are un-needed. Sure the bling is nice, but it will not win you any competitions, right?
Now we hear a lot of manufacturers make that claim, so I am interested in how the Flick G1 holds up, especially for the $55 price tag, which is a steal compared to some of the other high-end mice on the market. Are you curious as well? Then how about we take a dive into the Flick G1 and check out the features before we put it to the test.
Fnatic Gear Flick G1 Optical Mouse Closer Look:
You can see right off the bat with the packaging Fnatic is serious about the no frills simplicity with the nice, clean packaging of the Flick G1. On the front of the box is a full-size image of the mouse so you can see what the design looks like before buying it. Along with the image of the mouse are the Fnatic Gear and Flick G1 logos. Flipping over to the back, there is an additional side view image of the mouse along with some of the features that the Flick G1 provides, such as being eSports inspired, customizable, equipped with a pro-grade optical sensor, and more. If that does not get your interest piqued, I don’t know what will. If the images on the front and the back were not enough, well then flip open the front cover and here you get a one-on-one, mano-a-mano look at the Flick G1 mouse through the plastic inner packaging. Finally, with the mouse out of the box, the only other included item is the quick start guide that gives you all the information on where to download the most current, up-to-date software for the Flick G1.
Now that we have the mouse out of the bag, so to speak, how about we get a little closer.
