Sisoft Sandra is a diagnostic utility and synthetic benchmarking program. Sandra allows you to view your hardware at a higher level to be more helpful. The performance of the Q9450 showed the value of having a higher core clockspeed in the Sandra benchmarking. The slightly higher bus speed did help it overcome the Q6600 in most of the benchmarks.
