Grand Theft Auto IV 7-Years Later ReviewGuest_Jim_* -

Like several others of these Years-Later Reviews, this is probably not a surprising one to see. Grand Theft Auto IV released seven years ago, but despite its age, still has a number of people playing it. It is an open-world action game that places you in a virtual city as Niko Bellic, a man trying to escape his past, only to have it find and hunt him. He is up for the hunt though, especially with the new friends he has made in his new home of Liberty City. With their help, you will rise from a fresh-off-the-boat immigrant to challenge various leaders of the criminal underworld.
GTA IV does feature a different design than many other games of this genre, at least in my opinion, which is something I will cover more in the Story section. It plays very similarly to those other games, but with some added details in certain places, like having to stop and pay tolls.
If you know much about the Grand Theft Auto franchise then you probably also know that just about every major release in the franchise has earned itself a Mature rating from the ESRB. This title is no exception with its intense violence, blood, strong language, strong sexual content, partial nudity, use of drugs, and use of alcohol. If such content is inappropriate for you, then this review almost certainly is as well as the gameplay media has not been censored, and some definitely contains that content.
With that covered, we can jump into the review, which has a small shakeup to the Graphics section. Is Liberty City still a place to visit, seven years after we first arrived? Time to find out.
