Forsa Geforce 7900GT Video Card Review
Bosco - September 8, 2006Closer Look Continued
The card comes with a beefy copper GPU cooler with a near silent fan on it; this cooler is affixed with 4 screws. There was, however, no cooling provided for the RAM on this card, which was a mild disappointment. Being a fairly power hungry card, it also ships with a PCI-E power plug on the side of the card. This is to provide the beast with the power it needs.
When looking in from the side of this card, you can see that the cooler is composed of a copper plate that is affixed to the GPU, with folded copper fins that comprise the rest of the cooling surface.
As you can see, there is clear wrap on the video card’s cooling system that says “Please Remove Before You Use.”
