ECS Z270H4-I Testing:

*Most of this section is completely subjective since not everyone has the same hardware. These benchmarks are mainly to compare against other motherboards. Since I have no other direct references these benchmarks have little purpose other than becoming a reference for the next review. Please feel free to move on to the final page.

PCMark 8 is the latest iteration of Futuremark's popular PCMark system benchmarking tool. This version uses a series of industry standard tests in five separate benchmark tests to measure aggregate performance

SiSoft Sandra 2016 is a diagnostic utility and synthetic bench marking program. Sandra allows you to view your hardware at a higher level to be more helpful. For this benchmark, I will be running the overall performance measurement tool that utilizes a series of tests to comprehensively measure system performance.

Cinebench R15 is useful for testing your system, CPU, and OpenGL capabilities using the software program, CINEMA 4D. We will be using the default tests for this benchmark.

HWBot X.265 Benchmark: This benchmark takes a H.264 video and converts the output to an H.265/HVEC format. Included are both 1080 and 4K presets to measure the FPS level achieved by the processor. The default benchmarks are used with the result the FPS level at which the processor completed the workload. Measurement is in FPS.

While I do not have another Z270 to directly compare my results to, as noted at the top of this page, it seems glancing at other OCC reviews that these results are within the normal range. In fact, the system as a whole is performing as it should.
