Here is where the ECS Deluxe Z97-PK and the Intel G3258 CPU live in harmony. Gaming, a long bastion of needing a fast CPU, hasn't pushed the limits of multi-core computing. As such, the lowly dual core G3258 manages to nearly keep up with the massively more expensive 4770K. Overclocking both platforms only closes the gap as most games tend to perform the best with a few fast cores versus many slower cores. Chalk this one up as a win for the budget rig!
