Testing

Testing Setup
  • AMD 3700+
  • DFI SLI-DR
  • Mushkin Redline XP4000 (2x1Gb)
  • BFG 6600GT
  • Enermax Noisetaker 600Watt
For testing this beast of a watercooling setup, I will be using the same tests that we used in the Asetek Waterchill Extreme Water Cooling Kit, which had the CPU running at stock (2.2Ghz) as well as overclocked to 2.9Ghz. For idle temperatures, I booted the machine and let idle for 25 minutes. For load, I opened up a copy of Prime95 and let that run for 30 minutes. For the GPU, we are also running stock and overclocked. The temperatures were gathered by booting the machine and letting it idle at the Windows desktop for 25 minutes. For load, 3dMark03 was looped twice. Now on to the results!
