Corsair M65 PRO RGB FPS Gaming Mouse Closer Look:

The M65 PRO has a very sleek and game inspired design. Most mice follow the oval shape, which in my opinion is pretty mundane and not very ergonomic. The design of the M65 is not only aesthetically pleasing, but really helps your hand remain stress-free during the long gaming hours. The mouse employs a matte black color and has grip textures to keep it in your hand even if it is sweating. The frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum to keep it lightweight, but provides great durability. There is the Corsair logo on the tail end of the mouse that also glows with the custom backlighting we will take a better look at later.

There is a total of eight buttons placed strategically around the mouse to give you quick access when they are needed. The switches themselves are high capacity Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks. On the top, there is the standard left and right button along with the scroll wheel, which is also a button itself. Behind the scroll wheel, there are two buttons with arrows that either let you make DPI changes on-the-fly or you can program them for other operations. On the left side, there are the remaining buttons, including the "Sniper" button. The Sniper button is a unique button that allows the user to take advantage of on-the-fly DPI switching, which allows for more fine tuned mouse control to get that headshot.

Fliping over the M65 PRO mouse, you can see the very nice sized pads that allow it to slide perfectly over the mouse pad with no snagging or rubbing, ensuring you have your mouse on target each and every time. The pads are made from high-quality PTFE pads designed with low-friction contact points for the most precise movement. Behind the pads, there are several weights that allow the user to customize the weight and center of gravity to match their play style. Finally, we have the 12,000 DPI optical sensor that provides very high accuracy movement and the best performance in your game. The sensor is designed to work on virtually any surface to ensure it is ready to go. The cable is a 1.8m braided fiber design, making it long enough for most environments and durable to last. The interface is USB 2.0 for the most compatibility.

Now that we have seen the Corsair M65 PRO up close, we can take a look at the CUE software that powers the mouse.
