IOMeter is an I/O subsystem measurement and characterization tool for single and clustered systems. It was originally developed by the Intel Corporation and announced at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) on February 17, 1998. Once again, the Corsair Force GT performs as the average drive. It does, however, perform exceptionally well in response times and CPU utilization. Running a 4k aligned random write test, the drive easily surpasses its rated 85,000 IOPS speed.
