Testing:
For the testing phase of this review, I wanted to show what kind of temperatures you can expect to get with a large cpu heatsink, power supply and video card taking up a good portion of the space in the chassis. The chipset on this motherboard tends to run on the warm side of the temperature spectrum. Idle temperatures are taken after 15 minutes of idle time. Load temperatures are are taken after 15minutes of Orthos blend test running at priority 8.
Testing Setup:
- Intel E6600 cpu Overclocked to 365x9 1.406v
- DFI ICFX 3200 socket 775 motherboard
- Buffalo FireStix FSX800D2C
- BFG 7900gt OC
- OCZ Powerstream 520 SLI
- 2x 120gb Seagate hard drives
- Plextor PX-750a
- Windows XP SP2
Here are the results of my Testing.
