Testing:

Teflon 3/4" Mouse Disks:

Testing System:

  • Intel Core2Duo E6600 Processor
  • Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Motherboard
  • 2048MB G.Skill HZ RAM
  • eVga 8800GTS 640MB Video Card
  • GameXtreme 700w Power Supply
  • Western Digital 74GB Raptor
  • Western Digital 500GB Caviar
  • Sony Optical Drive
  • Antec Sonata II Mid tower Case
  • Windows XP Professional
  • Logitech wireless Mouse.

The 3/4" Disks were tested by using my Logitech mouse on the C4 NGen mouse pad, first without the Disks, then with the Disks on the same mouse pad. I can honestly say that there was no difference between the mouse speed, control, or anything else, that I could notice. However, it is worth mentioning that I have a very new mouse and that it still had the manufacturers "feet" intact.  My mouse also came from a major manufacturer that probably put a decent amount of research into their mice feet. If an older mouse or a mouse from a smaller company is owned, then these Disks would probably perform miracles, as the slick Teflon is way better than hitting with a plastic bottom.

As the graphs show, the Disks helped all aspects out in small portions, however the ease of movement of the mouse received the most improvement from the installation of the Disks.
