ASUS V8170 Geforce4 MX440 DDR 64MB Review
Bosco - August 3, 2002Testing
Test setup:
3dmark2001
As you can see a big difference between the two.
Quake 3
Well the card did fair a bit better on the quake demo.
Comanche 4
I decided to put the MX up against my new Enhanced 4200Ti for this benchmark, only because it is a demanding benchmark.
Not to bad on this demo. One thing I would like to point out, sure the scores are alot lower then the 4600TI, but you have to remember the 4600TI has higher clock speeds and 128MB of memory.
Conclusion
I can't take anything away from this card. The scores don't show it but this card was pretty decent. It didn't run and AAX4 tests but heck who plays games with it anyway.:) I was really impressed with the power of the card. I could have overclocked it but with no cooling fan why take the chance. For a gamer on a budget looking for next generation hardware this would have to be the card chosen.
