This game caused some performance issues with the 9800GTX. The 8800GTS outperformed it in three out of four resolutions. The 9800GTX did beat its predecessor in three out of the four resolutions. The XFX 9800 GX2 showed why it is a $600 card in Call of Duty 4. With the multi GPU setting enabled in the control panel, the GX2 just flat out outperformed all of the comparison cards.
