Introduction

Today we will be looking at the Antec Trilight 80mm case fan. I am really impressed with Antec from Cases, Harddrive Coolers to their Case Fans. I wanted to try a different color fan for my case, I was getting tired of the blue ones. So hows it look well read on and we shall see.

Very plain box, but who cares what the box looks like, its whats inside that counts. :)

Specifications

  • Size: 80 x 80 x 25.4 mm
  • Weight: 71.5 gm
  • Fan speed: 2,600 rpm (avg.)
  • Volumetric airflow: 34 CFM
  • Static pressure: 0.12 inch H2O
  • Acoustic noise: 30 dBA (at average rpm)
  • Two hookups One for the power and one for the fan sensor if you want to hook it up to your motherboard. Their is four screws as well but I didn't put them in the pic.

I really like the clear fans, even if there was no LED I like them better then the plain old black ones. These fans would match any color case.

    Installation

This is a very easy process to do, with my case I have clip on fans slots, so i can change my fans in 10 secs. I had two blue led case fans at the back so I took them out and put them in my silver tower. Other cases you may need to use screws to mount the fans which these fans come with.

Pic from the back of the computer.

Well I have to say I thought it wouldn't look this good. The fan really makes the different color lights look clear and bright.

I think it looks alot better then the blue ones I was using.

    Testing

With only having the one light on the rear and adding it with my two intake fans, my temps only dropped 2.3 celsius. But hey it looks cool, I just need to get another now that I know that it will look good.

    Conclusion

Very Nice! It looks really good and quick to install. For a very cheap mod on your case this
would have to be the easiest and quickest thing to do.

    Pros

  • Bright
  • Looks Great
  • Quiet
  • Easy hookup
  • Great Air Flow
  • Cons

  • Nothing
