AMD FX-8320E CPU & MSI 970 Mobo Closer Look (BIOS):

If you've ever delved into the BIOS (UEFI, as this technically is) on an MSI board, you'll find things just where you're used to seeing them. The main page you see entering the BIOS is adorned with the usual MSI Gaming Series dragon in silver surrounded by links to various settings pages. Boot device priority is shown across the top of the page, along with a quick reference for current temperatures, clocks, and amount of DDR3 in megabytes.

The OC page is thankfully filled with a lot of settings to maximize your overclock performance and stability. The column on the right has a somewhat helpful text description of each field, and when you adjust voltages it shows you both the offset you've applied and the end result of that boost - no guesswork (or math) required!

The M-FLASH tab allows you to both update your BIOS as well as back up your current BIOS configuration to a USB thumb drive. The OC PROFILE tab allows you to save various settings for benchmarking, gaming, all out overclocking runs with liquid helium, etc. You can save the profiles to a USB stick for safekeeping as well, in case you need to reflash your BIOS and don't want to dial in all those overclocking settings that you never wrote down.

The HARDWARE MONITOR tab, unsuprisingly, does just that. It allows you to set fan profiles, monitor CPU temperatures, and see current fan speeds. The controls here are slightly clunky, but they do their job perfectly - creating a nice fan profile only took a few seconds!

The BOARD EXPLORER is a fun tab. For some reason being able to highlight any part on the board and see what's plugged into it is extremely useful. Which slot did I plug that hard drive in? Oh nice, SATA slot 3! Cool! This is a little less critical when all of the ports run at 6GB/s, but it's still nice to be able to poke around without opening up your case and tracing wires.
