Optix MPG Monitors Launched by MSI and SteelSeries

Category: Monitors
Posted: 09:18AM

Back at CES 2018, MSI showed off a number of products, including two Optix MPG monitors that are now available. These are the MPG27C and MPG27CQ, both of which feature curved 27 in VA panels with 144 Hz refresh rates and 1 ms response times. While the MPG27C has a resolution of 1920x1080, the MPG27CQ sports a resolution of 2560x1440.

Helping the monitors stand out from others is their five RGB zones on the front, which can be programmed via the SteelSeries Engine. This allows users to have the zones illuminate based on notifications from Discord, in-game timers, stats, and cooldowns.

If you want to pick one of these up, or multiple for a multi-monitor configuration, making the purchase for the next month (March 8 to April 8) you can take advantage of a launch promotion. This promotion adds the SteelSeries QcK Prism mousepad to the deal, with its two different play sides and 12-zone Prism RGB illumination.
