If after reading our review of the Core i7 8700K and Core i5 8400 you have decided to upgrade and want to get some new RAM to go with the new CPU, G.SKILL has some kits you may want to consider. The company has announced new Trident Z and Trident Z RGB kits that have been tested at speeds from DDR4 3733 MHz to DDR4 4600 MHz. It is the 64 GB (4x16 GB) Trident Z RGB kit at the slower DDR4 3733 MHz speed, with the other Trident Z RGB kit being only 32 GB (4x8 GB) coming in at DDR4 4000 MHz.

The Trident Z non-RGB kits come in 16 GB and 32 GB kits with all of their speeds at or above DDR4 4000 MHz. The tested voltage needed to be increased from 1.35 V for the higher frequencies, but if you really need or want 4200 MHz to 4600 MHz, going 1.40 V to 1.50 V is just what you going to need to do.

These kits are to be available through distribution parties in November 2017.
