G.SKILL Trident Z DDR4 RAM Reaches 4333 MHz
G.SKILL is working hard on its DDR4 RAM offerings and has announced today its Trident Z series has received a DDR4 kit running at 4333 MHz with CL 19-19-19-39 timings. This is a 16 GB (8 GB x2) kit running at 1.40 V and was stress tested on an ASUS ROG Maximus IX Apex motherboard with an Intel Core i5-7600K CPU. You can see the image the company has shared below of those results, but there is more news than that. G.SKILL also pushed another 8 GB x2 kit to DDR4-4500 MHz, with the same timings and on a similar MB/CPU combination.
While the DDR4-4500 MHz run was just a proof-of-concept, DDR4-4400 MHz is being stress tested, and a sneak-peek of that has been shared as well. The specifications for a kit at 4400 MHz are still under development, so it will be a while before they could reach market production, but clearly G.SKILL is intent on pushing the envelope.
