Homefront: The Revolution Gets Final Single Player DLC, Console Trials, and PS4 Pro Enhancements
Homefront: The Revolution get a few announcements and releases yesterday as part of its Spring Update. First up is that its third and final piece of single player DLC, Beyond The Walls has been released. In this DLC, the occupying KPA forces have almost crushed the revolution and Philadelphia is about to fall. At the final hour, a NATO agent makes contact claiming to have information that could swing this second American Revolution against the Korean forces, defeating them once and for all.
Console players have also gotten some attention with this update as there is not a Trial mode available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The entire first Red Zone of the single player campaign is included in this trial, offering up to four hours of gameplay, along with unlimited access to Resistance Mode, an online co-op mode, and access to all of the missions and character customization content that has been released since launch. The PlayStation 4 Pro version has also received improvements, such as having the game rendered in 1440p with the HUD/UI elements being rendered at 4K, improving image quality on 4K screens and a super-sampled image for HDTVs. Frame rate should also be improved and HDR support has been added to both the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
